Safeguarding
Mundella Primary School recognises the importance of providing an ethos and environment within school that will help children to feel safe, secure and respected; encourage them to talk openly; and enable them to feel confident that they will be listened to. We are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and follow our procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection and justice. If you wish to raise a concern, please ask to speak to a DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead).
Additional information is available within our school policies, including the Trust's Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy or view it here
Online Protection and E-Safety
Keeping children safe, whilst they still make the most of the internet and online apps and software, is a real challenge. The capability of and access to both the hardware and software has never been greater and often our children know more about the apps than we do.
Below I have added a range of parent guides to support you in making good decisions and advising your children. It is never easy to have conversations about internet use, gadgets and games but it is important that, whatever decisions you make, you find out as much as you can.
These simple guides will make your life at least a little easier.
