Supporting Pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities can display themselves in many different ways and at different times throughout an individuals life. This can make the identification of needs, and therefore matching the appropriate provision to the needs, quite challenging.
At Mundella Primary School we take pride in supporting both the pupils whom have additional needs and their families. This cooperative relationship builds, over time, a trust that allows our team to identify needs rapidly and implement support effectively.
Supporting SEND is not always a smooth journey or particularly direct route but, by working closely with the Local Authority, our regional LIFT team and a range of specialist professionals and agencies we have built a reputation for succesfully delivering support to pupils and enabling them to make the most of their time in school.
